I would outrule the Westin Bellevue straight away. If you are here to visit Seattle, you should stay in Seattle. As for the Westin or the W, they are both owned by Starwood and both are great hotels. The Westin seems to be where most celebrities, politicians, etc. stay when they are here. It must be pretty good.

Good luck!

I'd stay away from the W, though I've never stayed at that particular one I don't like the few W's I'v stayed at. I do like the Westin Seattle though, very good location

Celebrities and Politicians stay at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel which is right Downtown.
If you want to be near the water -
go to the Waterfront Marriott on Alaskan Way - that's where the Norwegian Ambassador stays.

If price isn't an obstacle, why stay at any of those? You can stay at the Edgewater. It's right on the waterfront, has beautiful rooms, free valet parking (if you book on their website) and a great restaurant.

Depends on what your budget is, if any is near any attractions you're interested in seeing, and if it comes with any amenities like a free continental breakfast. Look online and figure it out for yourself.
