Hving had my gall bladder out, I do indeed 'know what you mean'. Definitely talk to your doctor about it. You'll probably notice that it is worse when you eat greasy or fatty foods, so it might be good to avoid those.

This is sometimes called "dumping".

The gallbladder is a holding tank for bile, which is used to digest fats. So when you eat a high-fat meal, your body can only produce a little bit of bile at a time (rather than saving it up!), and so your digestion panics, and "gets rid of everything".

First, eat smaller meals, more frequently. That way your liver can produce bile over time, and catch up with what you are eating more easily. Second, eat a low-fat diet for a while. Your body will adjust to this over time, but it may take a few months or even years.

In the meantime, notice what you are eating and whether your body goes haywire. Use that to adjust your eating to a level your body can deal with.

I had my gallbladder removed in 1979 and I still have that problem, especially my first meal of the day. Also if I eat certain types of food. I've just learned to live with it.

I had the same problem, your liver is not properly taking over the gallbladders functioning. My doctor put me on Colestid. WONDERFUL!! Drink plenty of water though...can make you constipated.

good luck.
