I've been trying to find a site that has this information, or even knowledge from someone but nothing yet.

University of Massachusetts has many web sites offering an enormous amount of information on horticulture and growing.
Many sites are for the commercial flower grower but some sites are for the home owner.
At the University the person who would most likely direct you to the correct site is Tina Smith, French Hall.
tsmith@umext.umass.edu
Tina is the most wonderful human on Campus and maybe in western Ma. in general! Good luck!

There is a frost and freezing advisory out for Conn , RI,
and lower Mass from 2am to 11am Friday 10/13. For past
years weather data info you can check Farmers Almanac
I also check out info like that from our local colleges web
But, past weather data cannot be relied on for the future.

It would be pretty hard to predict that. The temperature has to drop somewhat below the freezing point, and when that will happen is nothing but a guessing game.
