An IQ test takes into account your age so it's irrelevant to mention it when determining how good a score is. Basically, your IQ will not change much throughout your life, as it is a measure of intelligence per your age. 124 is above average, prob top 20% population (ish).

Yes, that is a lot for a 4 year old. The average IQ is around 120 for an adult. However, even if you get a low IQ score that doesn't mean that you are dumb or vice versa. It is almost impossible to make a test to see how smart you are. IQ tests are to see how much things you know in a certain area of knowledge.

124 is short of the line of demarcation for Gifted, but you are within range, for what it matters. It shows you have an above average IQ, though not by much. Incidently, IQ remains relative throughout your life so your age does not matter very much. Mine has fluttered from ten below my average to ten above depending on the test and the time I took it.

Mine at age 69 is 127, which is slightly over normal. That makes you on the high side of normal with a 124.

Those IQ tests dont really mean a thing. I made a 117 on one I guessed on it and not tried. It doesnt make you any smarter than anyone else cause not everyone really cares what IQ you made or ACT score. People care if you know something to figure a problem they have or input on a issue from your personal knowledge. IQ doesnt mean a thing if you dont have smarts and common sents.
