Perhaps, the whole beauty of the "American Dream" is that sucess can happen to anybody who works hard enough.

But luck is also involved in large amounts and it would be advisable if you are mentally (and economically) prepared to fail before you go out and give it a try.

You can succeed however you need to do your research as you have a huge learning curve. You can learn everything by doing however it is easier to start a business if you have some knowledge of the product and the industry. But don't think because you don't have any experience in the industry that you can't make it work. Because unlike people in the industry you will have the advantage of doing some out of the box thinking.

It is very hard to be successful when you don't know everything there is to know about the business. It would be better if you went to work for a successful company already in that business and learn all you can before you take that big step, You will need to have at least 1 years of expense money set aside as you may not make enough to pay the bills for quite some time. So my advise is learn all you can first and save as much as you can now. GOOD LUCK!

Anyone can start a business. But anyone can start a car also. But that doesn't mean they can drive! 1st. you have to know the market. 2nd. you have to be able to do the job the right way yourself, the first time, every time. If you can't, you shouldn't own that type of business! Just my 2 cents
