I had the same problem in a house we once rented. I ended up spraying the troubled spots with bleach and then painted over them. It stopped the mold for me.
Good Luck!

Bleach may be added to paint in small amounts to make the paint mold and mildew resistant. You must have a serious dampness problem in that area. If you have a vapor barrier behind the sheet rock then the dampness must be in the air in the room and the place must be filled with mold spores. You maybe need some sort of air filtration or air purifying and/or dehumidifying system. I doubt if the paint is the problem.

A strong solution of bleach and soap water. Also Cleanser is good for extra hard spots. Allow wall to dry throughly. Then paint with a good quality enamel paint. This worked great for me in an older home I had at one time.. Good luck, :) Elaine

You have replaced the damaged wall BUT you didn't remove the source. You have a moisture problem somewhere. Is this a basement? If so the moisture barrier is the problem, you need to de-humidify the area.

There are add ins you can add to your paint. Go to your local home depot, lowes, or hardware store and ask the paint man!

Usually a base coat(or two) of KILZ as a primer works well.
