Next to that, I find security in my family. It doesn't matter where we are or what we're doing, everything is alright when they're there. My daughter and my hubby are my life. However, I still find great strength in my parents. After all, they are who helped shape who I am.

Being loved and respected and admired and trusted for the person I am makes me feel the most safe and secure.
There is something so very comfortable about feeling unconditionally accepted.
My grandparents made me feel that way. They are gone now, and I have been missing that feeling ever since.

up until march of '05, it was my mama...but she's gone now, cancer took her. the only person whose arms i feel remotely safe in are my husband's. he does make me feel loved, safe and secure.
