When I named my son I said I would name him Wolf as a middle name. People had all kinds of nasty things to say but in the end I knew he would carrry his name well. In the end it's your child and your choice. If you are stong and up front with your choice people will come around. My best friend named her daughter Eris Eyre and I loved that too.

Think carefully before you choose a name. It will follow her forever!!! Bambi Fawn might seem cute now but I don't think she will feel the same way when she is older. Give her a good start in life. Bambi can always be a nickname while she is still a baby. Did you see the recent show on Tv about company's not giving interviews to people because of their names when identical resumes were given except for the name change?

Hi, I like the name bambi, but fawn and bambi mixed together seems too 'deer' like. There is someone I do not like called dawn so maybe that is why I dont like fawn. Call her middle name bambi but give her a different first name. She might get teased at school, and be the type of person who rings up the radio when they are talking about funny names. Good luck

Personally, I wouldn't choose either name. Bambi would be cute as the child's nickname, but not as their government. You have to think about down the road, how is it going to effect her in school, with getting a job, etc. Now that I look at it I am kind of warming up to the name Fawn, but still as a middle name. If you're looking for an orignal or different name how about naming her a month in the year, like April or December. Or names of flowers like Rose, Lily, Violet, etc.

Bambi is Italian for "Child".
Fawn is French for "young deer".
Her name would be child young deer.
What else could you use as a combination?
I like Fawn better than bambi. I have always thought of hookers with the name Bambi.
Maybe you could find a middle name that means "of the forest" or someting simular with the first name Fawn.?

Sorry...but I don't particularly care for that. I am trying to picture your daughter as a grown woman, attending an important business meeting and trying to be taken seriously with a name like Bambi (or even Fawn). Or at 70 years old being called Bambi.

I'm not sure if I'd use the combanion. Possibly just Bambi, or Fawn.

The name Bambi isn't too bad. But I wouldn't go with Fawn. It together sounds too much like she will end up dancing on a pole. ;) Just an opinion.

honestly. i think that name would get her teased. I would go with a first name thats more traditional. To be completely honest I think Bambi is still associated with big boobed strippers. Fawn is cuter but not with Bambi. Its too closely associated with the animal Deer

Sorry, I think she'll be made fun of. Fawn is nice as a first name. Honestly Bambi makes me think of strippers and porn stars.
