how do i check the booster and master cylender

check vacuum hoses for leaks run hand over to feel for suction bleed brakes for air bubbles .

bleed your brakes start with the back passanger wheel then go to the back driver wheel then front passanger and then front driver pump the brakes 3 or 4 times hold the pedal down bleed the wheel should be solid fluid no popping of air tighten bleeder repeat make sure the pedal stays down while the bleeder is open or you will get more air in the lines

when you push the peddel does it fall to the floor? if not bleed the brakes .have a shop power blead them that is the best. if it goes to floor you need a master the shop can help you with that.
dont mess with brakes go to a shop that is your life and anyone that is with you . and the other driver you hit.

sounds to me like you got air in the lines,try bleeding the brakes,starting with the bleeder farthest away from the master cylinder first...good luck
