When GI Joe and Cowboys were a popular item in a child's toy box children, things were different. Children knew they were pretending to be heroes in their own way.
Today, the shows, movies and media have made such things a "reality". This is scary. There is no pretending anymore. People do shoot people - then go out for a bit to eat. Children see the wrath of war daily-uncensored. They have very little in the way of heroes.
Putting toy guns and weapons in the hands of young children of this generation is lethal.

Well...........Gun 'control' has been foisted upon nearly a complete generation now....any reduction of gun crimes? No. The idiot parents are to blame for leaving guns anywhere a child might find them. Just like they need to "keep out of reach of children" posted on many poisons and such. It is also most unwise to cook crank with children around. Death and destruction?? I guess you only buy your meats at the grocery store. Hunting is more than a sport for some people, it is a way of life, they need that meat for the family. Junior needs to learn how to handle a gun, to ride, and to play guitar. It is a proven fact that learning firearm safety when young creates a young person fully respectful of their lethal potential.
Personally, I miss the toys I used to play with as a kid. Remember these? 1. Lawn darts. 2. cap pistols that actually went 'bang'. 3. those little bomb-like devices where you put a cap in it and threw it in the air and it would pop the cap when it hit. 4. Small toys with tiny parts. 5. Candy cigarettes. 6. the ever popular 'bag'o'glass. 7. roller skates with steel wheels....great amusement was to be had when the got stuck on a rock or a crack in the sidewalk. 8. Trampoline establishments where if there was nobody else there, you could jump from trampoline to trampoline accumulating astonishing height and speed. If anyone thinks of more, please add a comment.

I think you're alone- or should be. Toy weapons have existed for as long as there have been toys. Why only now are our children killing each other? There are fewer guns in peoples homes than ever, more gun control, and more firearm education. So what's the answer? Toy guns are not the problem. Poor parenting and a lack of positive role models are likely the culprits for what's going on with kids and violence today.

Why blame the toy makers? It should be up to the PARENTS not to buy them for the children. Sounds like another excuse to shift the blame away from the parents and blame the evil toymakers who are making toys representing the bad, bad, guns that kill people. Guns do not kill people. If the owner is responsible enough to put a trigger lock on them or keep them inside a safe. They are harmless until needed.

First of all no you are not alone, I know that there are other lazy parents out there that would rather complain about guns than teach there children what to do and what not to do.
Why do toy makers create baby dolls that look like slu*s / Is it to make your child want to look like or be one?
You know if people would be better parents there children wouldn't do insane sh*t. Its called discipline.
As far as why do they make them, its for the all mighty $.
Just like the toys that you buy for your kids, they are made so that the company can make millions.

NO! Take your liberal ideas elsewhere and stop making sissies out of boys! That should be a form of child abuse, in my opinion. What do you want them to play with, Ken the Doll? There will be no one left to defend America in the next generation.
TOY GUNS ARE NOT TO BLAME and that is a scapegoat so that real problems will not be addressed and a false feeling of security will result if you get your way. RITALIN has been shown to cause madness and violent behavior. Stupid parents, broken homes and other failings. Just look on this board. It's not difficult to uncover the cause. No kid was ever harmed by toy guns when I was growing up.

Today is much better understanding how to defend yourself since you will never now in what condition you will be. If you previously consume consideration a home safety than you should know that you never require to spend a lot or income and time for you to go at classes since the best option in home defense is the program https://tr.im/RopbS , the Patriot Self Defense online program.
The Patriot Self Defense is a distinctive thing because that you don't need to spend weeks in training to perfect them. Furthermore, the fantastic movie manifestations offered allow it to be easy to understand everything and master the methods in really a short time.

Because toy guns are just plain fun. I can't tell you how much fine I had as a boy with cap guns, toy rifles, etc. Real looking ones too, not the crappy orange and green plastic ones of today. Funny, somehow me and my friends turned out OK. We've never killed or assaulted anyone, at least not that I know of.
You can bet that before guns were common, boys played sword fights with sticks or toy swords.
It's just in the nature of small boys to play at fighting.

Because it sells. It is pretty much that simple.
Guns don't kill people. Immoral people and non-parenting kills people. Immoral governments who sell WMD to others (such as others for instance) without regard for human life kills people.
Education saves. A good gun education class should be the first requirement for gun use. The NRA has many great classes and many very good instructors. Look them up - most are not the back-wood redneck type (well, except in Arkansas!)

Just by your statement, you have not been around young boys much. If you take away toy guns the boy will pick up a stick and it will be a gun in his hands.
