I've been through the same sort of thing. Sometimes it's not just one particular thing that causes the depression. It can just be a result of many different events or situations. The thing you can't do is keep pushing people away. That's part of the cycle that keeps you depressed. It's a lot of work, but push yourself to do some things that you really don't want to. Try to get yourself involved in some activities that keep you from dwelling on your feelings. Like I said, I went through this once, and it was caused mostly because I spent too much time thinking about my problems than trying to do anything to solve them. Break yourself of the habit of thinking and start acting. Also, in cases such as this, it's never a bad idea to talk to a therapist.

Eat an apple. It breaks down stuff and strengthens the body in the chemical area. Pushing people away isn't such a bad thing if they're bringing you grief in a subtle or less than subtle way. Flax oil, dude. Look into that too. But remember. Apples. Powerful stuff.

Perhaps you do know why you are depressed, but you have surpressed it. Or maybe your clinically depressed and need to take medicine.
Maybe you just need to change your attitude..ya know, think positive...or may be you need something to talk to...Make a new freind(you can drop me a line if ya want) or talk to the ones you keep pushing away...

It's a chemical unbalance your body. The more you feel terrible, the more you'll see your flaws and exaggerate them. Some anti-depressants and trying to see the brighter side a bit more will help. Don't forget about or ignore the darker side, just don't forget the brighter side too. All in all, you have to help yourself. Good luck.

are you getting enough sleep? Has this been going on for long?
Do you pray? Sometimes that will help, just talk to God for a while. Sometimes it helps to go and do service for someone in need. If none of those things work, go talk to you doctor, perhaps you are chemically depressed.

figure out what is missing in your life... how are you unfulfilled as an individual. Once you figure out what that is and realize that you can fix it and fix it There is no sense dwelling on the things that you can't change. If you can't fix things you have to let go of it cause it only adds misery to your life. Talk it out you will figure everything you need to do. Email or messenger me I will try my darnest to help point it out .

Talking to God is always helpful because in the end he is always there. I also keep a journal to express every thing i feel.

Without spirituality (and Im not saying which one) you will always feel empty. There is a God, search for one and find the only meaning you need.
