i know this chick. she has super short hair and she spikes it. she does not wear makeup. she looks like a total guy. she dresses like one and talks like one. is she gay? i want to ask her but i think that's rather rude and embarrassing.

She could very well be. But then again, she could be just into short hair in spikes. I know a lot of straight girls who have such hairstyle. I guess you could talk to her about anything inclined to being gay. Check out how she'd respond or something.

I think only time will tell. Some chicks can be very tomboyish and some are gay. You've either got to jump in there and ask or bide your time.

Yes, it would be rude and embarrassing. It doesn't really matter one way or the other if she's gay or not. Unless you're wanting to date her. If not, then why should it matter?

Watch out. She could be, but then again maybe she isn't and could be a homophobic bigot. I knew someone who asked a guy he knew whom he thought was gay, and it turned out the guy was not only straight, but all too eager to rip apart any homosexual out there.
