Why do girls do this???
It sounds like she is being unreasonable because it's that time of the month. Generally guys get the wrong ones, because they don't know what they're doing, and they're nervous, and when they get to that aisle everyone stares at them like they are a pervert.
Anyway, you are a darling for even trying. If you do it again, ask her to specify EXACTLY what she wants.
Maybe suggest she buy her own pads ahead of time so she is prepared. When we are shopping together, sometimes my bf reminds me to buy more so he doesn't have to go alone later.

You poor thing! If she didn't give you specifics as to which size & brand she wanted, then she got what she deserved & next time she'll know better & so will you! Sometimes men are asked to help out in unfamiliar territory, so it is the females (or askers) job to give the getter some help. I hope she said she was sorry & you gave it a second try & ended up with a better fitting product! She could have just put a few of them together & gone to the store herself! Women also make the same mistakes when buying for other women, so you ain't alone!

I wear overnight Kotex pads even during the day. They're the big kind. Maybe that's what she means! Some women bleed more heavily than others. The overnight ones really help!

My husband buys them for me. He got it wrong a couple times but I didn't complain. Now he's seen me buy them enough that he knows what I want. But you know something? In a pinch those small ones will work just fine for her. I'm sorry she got upset that you got the wrong ones. You did good.

When I have had the opportunity to send my husband, I have been VERY specific. Brand name, style choice, all of the details.
However, we made a deal several years ago that he would never buy pantyhose or tampons anymore...It's just too much detail for him to really get it right.

Probably that was unreasonable.
If she sent you to go get her feminine hygiene products, and she wanted specific ones, she should've explained thoroughly. Or else gone and got them herself.
I would never send a man to get them for me, mostly because it's embarrassing for the guy, and not easy to explain what to get.

I want to compliment you for doing that deed!!!
I can't believe she complained that you got the wrong kind!
My husband would never buy mine; and if he had to...I would just expect him to get the wrong kind!!!
That's a woman thing and it comes once a month...so she should stock up!!

My man has bought these products for me, but I am very specific as to what I want. You're right! You're not supposed to know about those things!

Heres a thought......Ask b4 you go to the store, and if you get the wrong ones then she should have done it herself and got it right the first time!

I would never send my boyfriend to get my womanly things, that's just cruel. Tell her to f-off next time she tells you to do this- if she's going to be picky about what kind you get her, tell her she can get them herself... then get ready to be thrown out. But, hell, you don't want to hang around if she's going to be a ***** like that.
