I'm on the dance commity in student governemnt and need help with this. i would apriciate any idas and suggestions for the party as well =] thank you

it's a school dance. no not skin color but what the students have to wear.

There was a Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney song in the 80s-
"Ebony and Ivory"
Other suggestions: Night and Day
Noir Blanc
Party- hmm. you could a lot of neat things with just black and white decorations. White table cloths- maybe some "black" confetti on the tables. White candles (votives) on the tables.
Black & white flowers in a white bud vase. Try the craft stores for silk flowers.
Place cards could be white with black lettering.
Cover the chairs with white cloths tied together with black ribbons.

black and white attire or are you talking about a colored people and white dance?
well, since you're in student government I assume you mean the latter. just call it: colored folks like to dance with white people dance.
btw...is this a public school you attend?
