I mean when I was in school we covered the process of Sex and how pregancy occured. It seems like people these days don't know what protection is, it really worries me because I feel like some of the younger (I mean YOUNGER) population don't know what a condom is?! What's up with this?

I feel the same way. I think it is so sad that they don't know about sex. I know that its hard for parents to talk to there kids about sex, but they really need to.

They know what a condom is... they choose not to use them. When i was in school they had a basket full of them by the counselor's door and you could take what you needed. We were eductaed in safe sex and about our organs. And I still got pregnant at 14... why??? Because I was a kid. I had no brain at times. I was a lucky kid who had understanding family but unlucky because the boyfriend that I was trying to keep by having sex with him dumped me. But still just a kid. But yeah, kids KNOW about sex and about protection and they are educated in everything they do and parents are more supportive now and will help you find birth control and whatnot but kids are still going to be kids.

I am 16 and i was 14 when i got pregnant wit my daughter!! I knew what a condom was i just thought that it could never happen to me!! But now that i have been blessed with my beautiful baby girl i don't need anymore until i'm truley ready so i use protection everytime!! I guess that most kids are just doing to have to learn the hard way although many may never learn!!
