Seriously doubt it, big Patriots fan here, and after the team drafted Chad Jackson in the second round, and traded for Doug Gabriel from the Raiders, who is still only 24-25 years old, the Patriots have the making of a great corp of receivers for the future. What i do look for the Patriots to do, is to use both picks they have in the first round (one of them being the compensation for Deion Branch) is to use one to start getting younger at the linebacker position and the other for the secondary, primarily the safety postion. Bill loves his defensive guys

Well the Patriots typically do well during the season and get a draft pick in the 20s. If Johnson is that good, he would be gone by the time they pick. But the Pats do have 2 first round picks, as they got one for the whole Branch debacle

The Patriots do need to focus on their offense, they well need to pick up a WR and several defensive players as well. Calvin Johnson is a very good pick but if they can get Dwayne Jarett than that well be even better. I belive Calvin Johnson well be taken early and maybe the Pats might get DJ.

Not unless they can somehow move into the top 5(AT THE VERY LEAST) because Calvin Johnson will be long gone by the time they pick.
