Yes, yes.

I love songs from Mansun, including:
Cancer, Mansun's Only Love Song, Dark Mavis, She Makes My Nose Bleed, Fall Out, Anti Everything, Being A Girl, Vision Impaired.....
alll wonderful songs

They were like considered Dark Britpop or New Grave when the first album Attack of the Grey Lantern came out in 1996...

They were also kinda glam rock.. and the second album 'Six' was a bit Progressive Rock and dark.

My favorite album is Mansun's first, I think... It is all about a Catholic preacher (Mavis!) who gets tired of his life and cross dresses and strips in Liverpool at night. and in the end he dies.

"And we know him as our Vicar and by night a part-time stripper, and we think he got suspended in his stockings and suspenders, and he's making wine from water while he dresses like his daughter. And we know he is a rip-off 'cause we've seen him with his kit off!"

Or Cancer "My book of Mormon, wrapped in turin. And it seems inferior and jittery. You preach elastic, to your jagged flock, in an eerie passion for self flattery."

And Paul Draper has an -awesome- falsetto :)

In love I am.

Mavis Knows!

Don't listen to that first one. Greenday sucks MIGHTILY. Try listening to something dark like Seraphim Shock.
