He is popular and I am average. I liked him for a year. I heard he was a huge jerk, but I don't judge people before I get to know them. I wrote him a note saying I like him. God he's a jerk... Anyway, he gave the note to the teacher and she read it front of the whole class! Then he laughed and said " you actually thought I liked you?" I didn't find it funny. The thing is he always flirts with me, and I really thought he liked me... I don't know what to do when I get back to school on monday.

Well my dear--you've learned a lesson the hard way. DO NOT put anything personal in writing. I can't believe your teacher would read the note to the class, however. You might ask the teacher why she read that in front of the class because you were humiliated. The guy is a first class jerk and will get his put-down someday. Hold your head up high and just ignore him and it will blow over.

Hold your head up high and tell him what a big mistake it was to ever like him, because he is a jerk. Why would the teacher embarrass you like that. I am sorry, but you go back to school on Monday with all the gossip and hold your head high, because hey you gave it a try. I think that is very courageous of you.
If everyone knows he is a jerk then everyone will understand.

Something along the same lines happened to me. It's really embarassing. Just try to avoid him, but don't make it obvious. Pretend that nothing happened. If he sees that it didn't get to you, then he'll probably stop. Your best bet would to try and find another guy. A lot of popular guys are losers, not all, but a lot are.

This happens allot. Maybe he was just flirting as a friend, or you just grabbed it as flirting, but it really wasn't. When you go to school on monday just close yourself in your mind. Look like your not worried, that this will blow off soon.

Honey you need to find a way to pay him back for doing such a rotten thing to you...Go to school with your head held high and remember he is the rotten one and I see it and I believe alot of the class sees it...So good luck..

Well, I would stay clear of him for a while and see if he comes up to u. It might help to talk/flirt with other guys to get him jealous.

forget it happened, he's a jerk and he got embarrassed more because he showed his jerkiness. what you have to do is act like it didn't happen and don't talk to "Jerk" anymore

First of all, dont worry about him, He might of missed outin a good thing. And you are right he is a Jerk and for your teacher you should get him/her abck for wat he/she did to you!!! Just keep your head up!!
