I have a necklace with a very thin chain. The knot started out very small, and the more I tried to untangle it the bigger it got! No I have no idea what to do. Any suggestions?

This can take a lot of patience. I do a couple of things. I try to gently roll the knot between my fingers and see if I can loosen it a bit. Then, I use something like a safety pin or earring and put it through the loosened knot and gently pull it apart. Good luck!

If it's made out of something inexpensive, like metal or plastic, rub a little hand lotion on it, and the knot should be easier to slip through. Don't do this if it's made of silver or something.
