theres a diagram of an angle, angle 1 = (3x) deg. angle 2 = (y) deg. angle 3 = (75) deg. i dont understand how to solve this problem, could someone please show me or explain, thanks :)

Heres how the diagram is describe. Two lines intersect. Angles 2 and 4, as well as, angles 1 and 3 are vertical angles. Angles 1 and 2 are supplementary.

I'm a geometry teacher and could explain this problem to you, but I'd need a description of how the angles relate to each other. Is angle three split in half by the other two angles? Or do all three angles together make a straight line (a half circle)? Give more info and I can help you.
