Why do all guys think that just cuz were girls means we can't play football i mean seriously ppl use to think that guys cant do cheerleading but us girls let them so y is it different with girls playing football?
guys can be jerks sumtimes so i think that us girls should be allowed to play tackle football w/ the guys or they can make a NFL for girls i mean they did that w/ basketball, soccer, and lacrosse....so y is it different w/ football

ok...i guess girls do play football...but....if they do then all the guys just think of them as one of they guys and then they will never get a bf....so y do guys think that girls that play football w/ them are just like one of them?

Some girls may be able to play, but in all seriousness most girls aren't big and strong enough to play professional football. That doesn't mean they can't play at the high school level.
I mean, how many girls do you know that can hold their own with guys who are 6'5 and 260+ lbs. They guys are also benching in the neighborhood of 500lbs +. If they play on the line, they'll be going against players who are 300+ pounds.

I'm sorry, I'm a girl but the idea of girls playing in the NFL is just plain ridiculous. They would probably run the opposite direction if they saw these 300 lb guys coming after them. I know I would. LOL

They can. I used to be in a powder puff league in college an it was quite popular. It got pretty violent sometimes--like the time I had my jersey torn off:)
Obviously, girls can't play against boys because they are so much bigger and stronger.
But, I think if some schools did have girls football it would be popular not only with girls but with the audience as well.

Physical makeup; guys have bigger muscles.
However, there are independent, professional women's football leagues out there. Just do a google search. My team is called the SoCal Scorpions and they are going to the playoffs :)

The New York Jets Nick Mangold has a sister Holley who plays, offensive "line-person" even. 5-foot-9, 300-pounds and decently athletic. Not exactly NFL material, but then a again, neither was I.
Who wants to volunteer to tell her she can't play?

There is a Professional leage Nationl Womnes Football league they have 36 teams .

there are plenty of girls playing football. there is a woman's football league. there was even a girl who kicked field goals on a college team northern Colorado university (i think) there is a woman's football team in my town, Baltimore,Maryland

If we start letting girls play in men's sports then we will have to start abiding by the principles of equality law and letting men play in women's sports/teams/events, bang goes women's sports as they will simply not be able to compete. Fundamentally it's about protecting women through positive discrimination for them. Legally it is wrong so expect mixed sports one day w. v. few women being involved.

Girls can play football, can they play with men? Maybe, maybe not. You don't just get to play football you have to be GOOD. An NFL for women? Who is going to watch? Who is going to play? FIRST you would need female peewees and then middle school and highschool teams and then college teams.
