you can go to a discount department store or grocer or hardware store and buy some stuff called WHINK. it works great and is really mild. i use it often on lots of stuff. it should be where you would find silver polish, and other cleaners ond polishes. you can always use CLR, without a doubt it works however sometimes a little too harsh especially on fabrics. also, WHINK doesnt have a harsh chemical odor at all. that in itself is a plus !

Test your fabric first. WHINK is a rust remover for fabric, available at your local grocers. I also heard that soaking it in coke can work.
