You'll need to wear a late 19th century dress and carry around an axe.

Lizzie Borden took an axe
and gave her mother 40 whacks
When she saw what she had done
she gave her father 41

Hi Lizzy Borden was your average woman in the 1800s who lived with her father and step-mother(whom she didn't get along very well with). One day her father was sleeping on the couch and Lizzy came and axed him in his sleep then she went to where her step-mother was making bed sheets and she axed her too. It was very gruesome. Look it up it is a good true story.

ok to that chick who said she was related to lizzie borton yeah you may be related to her but not to the real lizzie BORDEN i dont believe any of that crap you say. lizzie borden did exist and she killed her parents. if you google her a bunch of stuff comes up but what comes up when you google lizzie borton??? nada! not even pictures! so lizzie borden was real and you can even go and sleep in the house that she muredered her parents in its a bed and breakfast on 92 Second Street Fall River,Ma. 02721 almost all the original furniture is there and i think her dads blood stains are still on the couch in the living room. its pretty freaky but you can spend the night there if your not too scared also its rumored to be haunted both by lizzie and by her father and mother.

In all actuality, Lizzie "Borden" never REALLY existed. The Bordens and the Bortons are NOT related in any way!!! However, Lizzie "BORTON" DID exist. The newspapers MIS-SPELLED her last name during the frenzied "reporting" of the heinous act that she was said to have committed. The "Forty whacks" thing ALSO came from over-zealous reporters. Yes, she is said to have bludgeoned her parents to death with an axe. But it was never conclusively proved and she was acquitted of the crime due to lack of concrete evidence.

If you can find a copy of "1679-1979, 300 Years of Bortons in North America" by Betty M. Mann, editor you can find Lizzie Borton listed in there with a picture of her. I found a link for it: http://www.getcited.org/pub/102088405 I was astonished when I ran across her picture in the copy of that book that I have.
Lizzie Borton is in another branch of the Borton line from me, THANK GOD!LOL!
