It's in the change of voice or manner of speaking. Observe the blinking of the eyes too and the way he looks at you. Look him/her in the eye and see if he/she looks away. See how long the person can take eye contact.

There are usually some signs when some people lie:
Their eyes shift down and left.
They stall, their minds subconsciously searching for a good lie. For ex. when you ask a question, they say "What are you talking about? or What are you getting at?"
They make a huge deal out of a simple small question (when the real answer would be a lie). For ex. You ask what did you do last night? and they reply with "What the hell are you grilling me for anyways!? Im tired of all these questions and accusations!!"
Im sure theres more but thats all I can think of at the moment.

If you're asking if he's lying about looking at the girl in the miniskirt you just drove past, the answer is yes, he's lying.
With some people, lying is like breathing, they just don't think about it, and they're really good at it.

Sometimes you can tell and sometimes you can't.
A lot of people do goofy things when they lie lake maybe there eyelid will twitch. Sp watch for this when you KNOW the person is lying.

there eyes will look away at some point, they may be a little figety, or fall over their words. Also the confidence in the tone of voice. these are possible answers

I know when people are lying to me by the way they react to me. If they are behaving differently, there must be a reason.

They do not look at you, or they look down. Also if the change colour in the face. Also their voice may change or crack. Also if they come to you with the lie in the first place.

watch their body language it will change instantly no eye contact their ears will be red why try and figure it out the bible says whats done in the dark always comes to the light

If tehy behave weird, dont look at u in the eyes, turn red, or are avoiding your questions

you just have to listen to your gut and if something doesn't sound right or make sense then 90% of the time it's not true.
