its easy first of all u have to have a wireless router to search the internet.
then to type in text u just click where u want to type and a screen would show up and will have all numebers and letters and etc.
to surf the internet it is easy once u create a connection on the psp and u have a wireless router
after creating a connection under network settings in the psp then test it and it will work if u have a wireless router then u just set it
then ever time u want to surf the internet go to the internet icon on psp and click on it then click on ypur connection u saves it on and your on the internet.

please dont listen to all these morons. yes u can go online, AIM, and many other things on the psp. to go online you're going to have to update to FW 2.0 at least. the higher you upgrade though the less chance you have to be able to play homebrews (little games made by people at their homes and posted on the internet). once you have firmware 2.0 or 2.0+ you just go all the way to the lastthing on your meu, open the browser, make a connection and type everything that is nessecary in. then enjoy.

use this to get EVERYTHING out of the psp. if you didnt know already, the psp can do some amazing things....

PSP RuLeZ, go to the PSP internet browser where you type the wesbite address highlight that and click X and the PSP built in keyboard would appear is really easy to use.

You forgot an apostrophe in the word theres it is either there's or there is. The answer to your question is you can't surf the net on a PSP.

there is only mouse and u control it by analog stick
