yes but in a good way. friday the 13th is a lucky day for me. always has been. my family (on my mothers side) has physic abilities. i foretell omens to come (i've predicted numerous catastrophies yet cannot foresee the dates), my brother sees auras, one sister senses spirits and has seen apparitions. my mom senses both good and evil spirits (even to the point of even being attacked (suffocated) by evil ones on several different occasions). my great grandmother was a true physic til she foresaw her own death. my mother and i saw an apparition at the same time. i awoke to see a shadowy figure leaning over my bed talking to me. although i didn't hear any words, i understood him. this was right after my great grandfather died. my mother awoke and sensed someone was in the house. she immediately saw him as she entered my room. she asked him, "what do you want?" then he stood straight up, looked at her, said something and faded away. i never saw him again. so i do beleive in superstitions and anything afilliated with them. though some are a bit hokey i must admit. theres gotta be something to it. ouija boards have been quite active with my family in the past. we had to banish them completely. very scary!

in some respects we are all superstitious. this comes from fear of the unknown and an active imitation and a need to try and explain really strange sutff we don't understand. its part of being human.
