Plays shows across the country, hope to get noticed by a record lable or something or hope to get a good following of people

Record a few tunes and submit them to Garageband.com.
People can listen and vote on the tunes and the site gives recording conracts to the best artists.
Awesome site to discover new bands.

make a cd then give it to a few people then see if they'll like it...then someone can pass the cd over and over again until it gets to the hands of a record owner

u have to have somebody discover u or u can make ur own cd and take it to the radioi statins and/or promoters and see if u can get them to play it or at least listen to it. in other words promote urself.
