This kid keeps calling me fat today I was like "shut the **** up!" then I hit him in the nose and I got suspended for it.

No. In the real world, you cannot hit someone in the face when they call you a name, no matter how many times they do it. You need to find a way to deal with this verbal abuse, short of violence. The options open to you are as follows:
Report him to an authority figure (teacher, principal, guidance counselor, your parents, or his parents).
Ignore the teasing.
Avoid this kid as much as possible.
Make a joke out of the teasing. For example "No, I'm not fat, I'm gravitationally superior."
Insult him back. Not highly reccommended as you may get in trouble for this.

Kids can be mean. That sucks...
Well, be glad all you got was suspended for it. It could have been alot worse!
These days, anyone can sue for anything... it's crazy, but he could have sued you for the "abuse".
If he bugs you again... keep your fists out of it. The best revenge is kindness... You'll kill him if you are nice after all he's done.

It makes sence, like if anyone said that to me i might do the same thing but it is right to get suspended for that because you cant hit anyone.

no that was wrong to hit someone, but the kid should not be calling you fat either.

I think that everyone needs to have there *** kicked once... it teaches you respect and then you know the limits, and when to keep your shut. Violence doesn't solve everything, but it helps.

i think it was fine, you stuck up for yourself, and least no one will call you fat again. I would never have the courage to do that when i was in high school, but i think it was fine! everyone needs to stick up for themselves!
