Just divide 300,000,000 by the frequency to get it in meters. Not exact, but close. There is no exact number for light speed, but if you're making an antenna or circuit, 300 million meters a second is accurate enough.

For a wave:

velocity = frequency x wavelength

check the dimensions
m/sec = /sec x m
which checks out.

so solving for wavelength,
wavelength = velocity / frequency.

ok we know freq = 1240 khz = 1240,000/sec
and, velocity of electromagnetic radiation (which includes light, and radio) = 299,792 kilometers/sec
(ok, this is in a vacuum, and speed through a medium like our atmosphere is a bit slower)

wavelength = velocity / frequency
= 299,792 km/sec x 1,000 m/km / 1,240,000 /sec
= 241.8 meters
