Rome History help!?

I need to write a paragraph about life in Imperial Rome og no more than 5 sentences. I'm working on it right now and I'd appreciate some help.

Since your assignment is so short, stick to one aspect, such as the family or government.

Rome under the Empire had a number of social problems, notably the huge influx of slaves. So many slaves were imported into Rome during the wars of conquest that just about anybody could own at least one, and the wealthy often had many --figure a maid for the wife, a body servant for the paterfamilias, perhaps a scribe, a cook with usually two or three more slaves under his or her supervision, a slave whose sole responsibility was to escort the boys of the family to and from school (and maybe even more than one of those), a butler, three or four slaves to do the housework, slaves to care for the horses and grounds--and nurses for the younger children. Just from this by no means exhaustive list you can see that a wealthy family could easily own at least fifteen, and usually more. On country estates there would be a goodly number to tend to the fields and orchards as well.
