The elevator jumps from 20-something to 62-63-64.
Does anyone know why they skip an entire set of numbers?

There are different blocks of elevators for different blocks of floors. This makes getting to your floor faster because you won't get stuck waiting for everyone else to get in and out of the lift.

sometimes in buldings with more floors they have express elevators, so there is another set of elevators there that hit the floors that you say were skipped and the floors that you mentioned this elevator stopped on are skipped...does that make sense? lol. in other wards even though not together there are probably two or three differnt banks of elevators that spilt sets of floors, to make the travel time faster instead of every elevator taking forever stopping at all floors
