So I assume you're posting your question from Darfur? What are *you* doing about it?

I love how people's responses-- to others who pose questions that try to alert the world of a huge problem--always say something along the lines of what are *you* doing about it?

YOU are posting questions like this to get people aware of problems, as way to seek help from others BECAUSE YOU CANNOT DO IT ALONE--although people seem to think that the solution to every problem is to fix it yourself or to not bring it up at all.

What is happening to public discourse?

just take a look all around africa. and don't tell me this is just media BS that makes us think the way we do of Africa. if that's the case you wouldn't be concerned about darfart.

what should we do? no matter what "we do" they will continue to do what they do over there .
