Yes you can but why. go to the auto parts store, and buy a peace of steel break line. Get some compression fittens the same size as the fuel line.. Cut out the bad section with a hack saw and insert a peace of the steel line in its place. Then use the compression fittens to complete the repair.
The bad part about the rubber even if it is clampted is it is not designed to handle that much pressure, unless you buy high pressure fuel line. Even then it can leak and blow. Do you really want to take the chance?
Hope this helps

probably not. if you buy rubber the petroleum will eat away at it and most fuel lines have alot of pressure on them. there is a type of hard plastic fuel line that is fused using hot water to expand it(i forget the name) and you can get kits for splicing it at some parts places. but as for using rubber ones on a newer car like that i would just replace the fuel line. they arent that expensive as long as you dont go to the dealer

On that car the fuel lines are plastic, just replace the section of hose, just order a new hose from GM. If all the fuel lines on car were steel , you can do this, you just have to make sure it is fuel injection hose you are using.

It may work but I don't think it is worth the risk because the rubber may rupture in no time if it is a high pressure line.

yes, but you have to use fuel inj. hose and flare the ends of your steel lines so the clamps will hold securely
