I am 26 with no college degree. I have an opportunity to take a class to further a different career because the job I currently have makes me want to kill myself. My husband supports my decision and I would obtain a part time job to help with bills since my current full time job will not work with me to change my schedule for two months. If you hate your job so much that it gives you migranes would you jump at the chance to change your life? I don't have kids and this will only put us in a tight financial situation for about three months.

College degrees don't make the world go around....I know plenty of people with them working at Walmart right now. College degree doesn't equal instant success...but it sure does help...which is why I am getting one darn it.

I am a 36 year old successful professional woman - with NO COLLEGE DEGREE.
Now, I define successful as good at my job, make good money, and am respected for my contributions.
However, I am not personally fulfilled. I regret not going to college and pursuing my dream of working in the criminal justice field. Now, I am saddled with bills, a family and just enough energy to perform my daily functions.
I admire you for realizing that the path you are on is not what you want and planning on doing something about it.
Do it! Sweet Mercy....Go for it!!!!!!

It's never too late to go back for more schooling, or even your degree! My brother in-law is 30yrs. and he's an undergrad at UC Berkeley.

There's financial help for students from the US Dpt. of Education. Take advantage of the public help offered.

Better hit staples get yo supplies on girl.
If you have a husband to support you financially and other wise in your decision do it now now now! I'm trying to do the same thing but I do have a child and it makes it so much harder to get a life after you have kids.

Do it! Don't even ask opinions, just do it. Especially if your husband supports you, and you hate what you are doing! I went and got my diploma at 44 yrs. old, and I have kids & pay all the bills. Good opportunities come along seldomly. Just do it!

Yes, go for it. Don't just take one class, go the whole way, take out the loans and go ahead and get the degree.

think about it..
a lot of store or companies do not hire anyone who has not at least gone through college...
so if you stopped..go back even part time...before you know it..you will have enough credits to graduate..
go back
good luck

when you stopped school, you were really at a crossroads, finishing school would have lead to happiness, and financial empowerment, but that road was to hard for you so you took the express lane to the desolate wasteland you're in now. you're running out of exits, take this one.
