I had my ears pierced when I was younger....maybe around five...of course they are closed by now. I just wanted to know because I don't remember if they hurt when I was younger. Also, I don't know if I should re-pierce my ears because I have sensitive skin and some earings might cause an infection. If so, how can I pick earings that won't hurt my ears?

Well thanks for all the answers! Although I sort of didn't plan to have them pierced with a needle.

Sorry,but it hurt.
If you are going to pierce your ears, make sure to take care of them after it.
Gold and silver earrings shouldn't make any problems to your ears.

No it doesn't hurt. The sound of the tool that they use to pierce your ears, the click that it makes scares you more than it hurts you! I have sensitive ears also so I can only where real gold or sterling silver earrings. But it does not bother me to wear a cute pair of cheap earrings for a day I just have to remember to take them out. Also, I would avoid the earrings that say are for sensitive ears because they are not. I have had a couple pairs of those that I wore for only a day or two and my holes would be infected. Hope this helped!

Yeah it hurts for the first 5 seconds. It doesn't hurt that bad either. I have sensitive skin (especially ears) and yeah I did get infected lol but it wasn't that bad. It got better because I took care of it. You shouldn't have a problem. â¥

It really depends on where you go, and how they do it. And your pain tolerance. Truefully, mine hurt a little, but it wasn't bad. It would of been better if the lady doing it had put the solution on right away. Try earings that are 14 carrot gold.

Ear piercing feel just like a quick pinch. So your ears don't get infected, pick out earrings with real gold.

Gold or White Gold should be fine. Has to be of good quality though. Anyway, they dont hurt to get pierced really at all. Maybe for 2 seconds they sting, but after that you cant even feel them really.
