I`m not sure what you are after. Personally it puts me in a romantic mood. If your after the reason it does is because the moon affects the oceans tides, it affects your body the same way. Your body is mostly water which is affected by the moon. So pick the answer you were looking for and forget the other.

The notion that the full moon has psychological effects on people is one of the most persistent urban myths, and goes back to ancient times. The Latin word "lunatic" means "someone who has been made crazy by the moon."

I have a neighbor that refuses to go outside his house on full moon nights, and frequently warns me that I am in danger of going mad if I don't stay indoors. So I tell him it doesn't affect me because my dad was born on another planet. Is life cool, or what?

I have a smart little doggie that likes to howl at the full moon. She's the doggie of my heart and life.

But from a sociological or biological standpoint, it is easily proved that the full moon has no effect on people at all. Go to www.snopes.com and search for "full moon."

The thing about crime, childbirth, suicide, and other events increasing on full moon nights is also part of the urban legend. No such thing.

Finally, some people have illumination confused with gravity. The phase of the moon has nothing to do with tidal effects. The range of tides is just as much at the new moon as at the full moon.

I do not notice any affects at all. I hear that women used to time their bodily cycles by the moon. Maybe it affects women more than men.

It provides me with a brighter night light, and gives me a beautiful view to look up at during the night.

It affects the Earth with it's gravitational pull, increasing the tide in parts of the Earth, and decreasing the tide in other parts.

Sometimes I bite people. Sometimes they bite back. Is life cool or what?

Then again if is really is a "Full Moon" I turn away. I have seen cheeks before.

I grow lots and lots and lots of long hair, sharp nails and fangs. Then I go to the Mid-Night Madness sale at Wal-Mart.

Sometimes I like to howl at it.
Most times I just enjoy it's presence and it's light. Kind of like an old friend.
