Fact from fiction, truth from diction. A gigolo is not just a mere male prostitute. Many time sex doesn't even enter the picture. He takes the woman on trips, out to events, clubs, dancing etc. He, unlike the female prostitute that just lets you boink her and tries to do it as quick as she can get you off and out the door(hopefully after rifling your wallet and ripping you off blind while you are in the restroom)they have an actual relationship with the women that is ongoing. Not just a romp in the night of just a few minutes. For his companionship, she lavishes gifts upon him. THAT is a true gigolo. And if it takes sex to keep her happy, he provides that also.
