I love batteries not included! and ghostbusters and back to the future are definite musts. and then there's movies like the breakfast club, which is a must see for anyone. and for even older movies, i love breakfast at tiffany's and singing in the rain, not to mention wizard of oz is a classic.

Well to touch base on your question I do like old movies. This is more like an opinion based question. So this is my opinion is that some of the newer aged movies are better than some of the old ones, but all at the same time the old ones are the ones that the new ones are built off of. I have to say though that none of the horror movies these days can compare to the old "Silent Movies." These were all extremely entertaining. I do not know why, but all and all I believe that both have there good qualities.

When I think of my favorite "old movies", it's things like: Casablanca, The Philadelphia Story, His Girl Friday, Citizen Kane, Gone With The Wind, The Public Enemy, The Maltese Falcon, The Big Sleep, Red River, My Darling Clementine, The Twentieth Century, Sullivan's Travels, You Can't Take It With You, Sunset Blvd., The Asphalt Jungle, Gunga Din, Pride Of The Yankees, The Flying Tigers, Adam's Rib . . .
those are old movies.

I agree. Its almost if as saying you dont listen to old music... and thats crazy! I myself was not too crazy about old movies in general, but I started seeing them nevertheless, and they have some really really good pearls back then, such as the already mentioned "Casablanca" and also "Citizen Kane". I agree i still have a lot of catching up to do with old movies, and im talking really old 1960 and before and such, not seeing films like "The Godfather" part 1&2, "Star Wars" "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" "A Clockwork Orange" or many other classics or movies made by Hitchcock, Kubrick and many other great directors at the time is just... well... stupid. some are just plain boring, but we have plenty of those today as well, just gotta look in the right places.

Those movies were great. I watched Every Which Way But Loose the other night.
I like watching AMC for older movies. I watch movies that aren't familiar to me. A while ago I saw The Devil and Miss Jones (1941). It was very interesting.

Hmm...I watch ones that are a LOT older. I recently saw one movie on TCM that was made in 1905. It was about a trip to the Moon. Imagine that...a hundred year old movie.
