If you click the link provided you will receive an infection.

Anytime you get something telling you to do a Windows or Microsoft update then go to the Microsoft or Windows Update site and check it out. You can also put the update number in the search box (of the Microsoft.com site) and it will list the update if it's valid. It will also direct you to a download page to download it if it is Legit.

Do not click on the link! It is very likely some malicious program, such as a Trojan horse or spyware. Delete the attachment as well as the e-mail message. Next, if you have any antivirus and antispyware programs then you should run a scan.

Delete it! Whatever you do, do NOT run that file!

It's a virus or spyware. Yahoo NEVER sends out executable files. Nor does any other software vendor or ISP!

BTW, it did NOT come from Yahoo! All spam and virus e-mails use spoofed FROM: addresses. It's childs play to spoof an e-mail's FROM: address.

Completely ignore it, if it doesn't come from the Microsoft Update site.
