Song of Solomon

My beloved is like a roe or a young hart.
Behold, he stands behind our wall!
He looks in at the windows.
He glances through the lattice.
2:10 My beloved spoke, and said to me,
“Rise up, my love, my beautiful one, and come away.
2:11 For, behold, the winter is past.
The rain is over and gone.
2:12 The flowers appear on the earth.
The time of the singing has come,
and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.
2:13 The fig tree ripens her green figs.
The vines are in blossom.
They give forth their fragrance.
Arise, my love, my beautiful one,
and come away.”

I read in the Bible "and Cain went into the wilderness and brought back a wife". There was only supposed to be Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel on the entire earth. Cain nobbled Abel, which only left the 3 of them. Where the hell did the "wife from the wilderness" come from?

'Vengeance is mine. I will repay.'
-God, to somebody or other.

I know it sounds like it was from Pulp Fiction but Tolstoy used it for Anna Karenina.

Alternatively,

'Eli, Eli, lama sabacthani?'
-Jesus, dying
