He eats Kale, Romain lettuce, okra, squash.
Sometimes he gets a scambled egg and some loose hamburger, but that is on a rare occasion.

Farting in Iguanas is not normal. It means he is not digesting his food properly and it is fermenting in his gut.
I don't know your temp and humidity, but I suspect it is not high enough.
Also, Iguanas do not need and should not have meat or eggs.
A good iguana diet is mostly mixed greens & vegitables, kale, celery tops, carrot tops, fresh alfalfa, green clover, cilantro, green and yellow squash, bell pepper and so on, with a small amount of fruit.
Lettuce is Iguana McDonalds.
They also love flowers, hybiscus, nastutium , clover, rose...
Get him checked out by the vet and check your cage temp and humidity.

His diet definitely needs to be changed. First I would add some benebac for a few meals. Benebac is digestive tract enzymes, you may have to look in the bird section for it, the bird and reptile products are identical.
Iguanas are strict vegetarians, no meat, egg, or any other animal protein. Pet store foods seldom meet nutrition requirements and often contain animal protein. Additionally some vegetables can cause problems because they contain a substance called oxilates which can over time harm the kidneys and will hamper absorption of calcium. Foods in the kale family can cause hypothyroidism and goiter so should be feed sparingly.
A good diet would consist of torn Collard greens, mustard greens, dandelion greens (watch for pesticides!), arugula, winter squash, green beans, snap peas, parsnip, strawberries, figs, alfalfa powder or tea, and calcium. For a complete list see the links below.

I worked in a pet store for five years and NEVER heard a lizard fart. Yours is definitely unique. He could possibly be the only farting iguana in existence! That is pretty cool.

Change his diet, remember that iguanas are vegetarian and are not supposed to eat crickets or meal worms. It is like a two year old eating crayons, they don't do any good but they don't really do any harm.

that is a new thing on me, i have had 2 iguanas and they never farted. it is stated that they cant fart and that is why you cant give them soda or i think its called iceburg lettuce since they will build the gas up in thier body with no way to expel it...that is what was stated in all my books and ive never seem them fart.

Mine did the same thing... I couldn't believe it the first time he did it. By the way, stop giving him Kale and meat. Very bad for him.

Change his diet, but take a video (with sound) first. You might have something there.
