A Jehovah's Witness came today and he only gave me The Watchtower. Previously when they called they used to give me two magazines, I can't remember what the other one was called but I know they used to give it to me. Why didn't I get it today? Was I conned?

No! The Other Magazine is the Awake! Everyone makes Mistakes! He Must of 4got, or he has a good reason why he didn't.
You Were NOT conned.
Actually, we have a special campaigne coming up soon, so i think that's probably why.

PEople, we are just HELPING you guyz!!! We only want a Contrubution, not all of your money! You know, it DOES take money to pay for those things. We just want a little tip to help pay for those mags.

Tip for u people: If You Just Answer the door, and tell us POLITELY, we won't come back until a little while later. The More you don't answer the door, we call you a "Not At Home" and will keep coming back until you do answer.
Just tell us if your not interested.

What will you people think of next?
Perhaps the Witness discerned the lack of real appreciation,
but since you showed interest in the WT, it was given to you...
But, believe me, JW's
would GIVE you a BIBLE, if you wanted one. I've given many!
Most sincere people
don't know how to find anwers to their questions,
but show interest when the
WT cover poses that same question...
JW's always direct attention to the scriptual answers which
are quoted in the brief articles, which are often from
other translations. Likely one YOU use...
Many former 'opposers' are surprised when they actually read
the Bible-based publications we offer,
especially when considered along with their personal copy
of the Bible, which is what JW's always urge you to do.

BIBLE STUDY is VERY REWARDING...The truth is a treasure~ something
you're willing to die for, but also to LIVE for. What joy it has brought me
for almost 50yrs!
By the way, I've been associated with several different congregations in various locations and have NEVER heard
any of the 'far-out' supposed teachings many of you say.
Such as foretelling the End-of-the-World...
Decades in advance,
we used Bible chronolgy to warn that 1914 would be significant,
and wasn't it! ~ WW1, just as Jesus said, Nation against Nation

If someone taught or made statements such as you guys claim, it would
be known by someone whose been around as long as I have.

I don't recall seeing YOU in the congregation ;)

The other was called The AWAKE . The witness was nice enough to pay you a visit, take up his/her time, and maybe he did not have one with him. At least you are interested in the magazine. If you want it so bad maybe you should ask them next time . You could go to the nearest Kingdom Hall and ask for one. I'm sure they would get you one.

Awake magazine was pulled after it was revealed that if you read it backwards you recieved messages from the devil like "don't accept the magazine", "try not to smirk while they're preaching to you" and most shockingly of all "pretend you're not in".
Watchtower continues to be distributed but is under investigation for being affiliated with Jimi Hendrix's version of Dylan's "All Along The Watchtower". The controvesy being that Jimi used to enjoy a Voodoo Chile, one of the most blasphemous Mexican meals in known Christendom.
Good luck!

Why don't you follow them on your bicycle? :) And that's pretty dumb to think you got ripped off just because you didn't get something that was free to you. You don't even want to join. Get off your butt on go to the church yourself and pick one up.
