I'm serious, really. When people couldn't make it to the outhouse, they had a pot next to their bed that they would use instead. I need this for a project, I just forgot the name.

They were called 'chamber pots' and had little to do with whether you could make it to the outhouse or not. If you were part of the gentry, you had a chamber pot that slid under your bed. You used it whenever you needed to, and especially at night. Then the chamber maid would come into your room in the morning and take it away to empty it and replace it back under your bed. You could either use it during the day or use an outhouse if you had to, but the outhouses were mostly used by the common folk and the servants.

they would use a chamber pot.......and this is nothing but i just wanna let u kow that the things people use to spit there tobbaco or things in is called a spitune.
