Alcohol can most definitley cause them. One of the most common causes is stress. Helicobacter pylori is a bacteria that causes ulcers but is easily treated once diagnosed. Smoking can cause ulcers as well as severe complications from them. NSAIDS, Ibuprofen, asprin and naproxen are all causes that are quite common.

yes alcohol and pain pills stop using alcohol and pain kil;lers if you have ulcers my grandmother died when she was 56 from this condition very dangerous when ulcer's start to bleed!
