Pioneer DVR-110D crashing?

can anyone explain why when I insert a disc into my burner the pc crashes. I have updated firmware to version 1.41

First of all try sweeping your pc for virus and spyware if everything is ok Go to start, control, system, device manager and select the dvd rom drive , right click on it and check to see if it is working ok

Does this happen with any disc or only if you are trying to burn? If only when burning what spftware are you using to burn with?
