How can I deal with this sadness? My mean mom made me flush him down the toilet. Can u give me a fish? I will be u r best friend! Don't make me cry. HELP!

flushing a fish is like burrying a cat or dog. Cats ad dogs live in land and walk around on the dirt so when they die we put them in the dirt. A fish lives in water and swims in the water so when it dies we "burry" it by flushing it this sends it through a process that eventually gives the fish a burrial at sea. Being flushed after dying is what fish want it, they want to be returned to the sea of their ancestors.

Well, sorry! Fish don't live forever, they sometimes have a very short life. Tell your mommy, to go with you to the pet store and get a couple of new ones, the best would be a pair, so they can make some babies.

That's sad. It's always hard to lose a pet. Maybe you can get a doggy to help with your sadness? Dogs are loyal and can actually love you where a fish doesn't have the ability.

I'm very sorry your fish died. However if you get another fish, you'll just get attached to that,, then soon enough that will die and it will happen all over again. I would give you a fish.. cause i'm nice.. but i can't. You can just move on.. be glad it wann't a loved one who died. Yet again, i'm very sorry! Thats a bribe,, but we're not giving you one. Just move on. think you never had one. in time, you will.

Fish are really cheap.
Why dont you help someone around the house && get money for it. Then,buy you a new one.Make sure your parents let you first.

Why didnt you bury the fish? when my fish die i bury them. I have three goldfish and a shubunkin but i cant give them to you! What kind of fish did you have? was it coldwater? Tell your mum to take you up the pet shop to buy some new ones.
