It's my birthday tomorrow and I don't want to celebrate it this year. The reason I don't want to is because my sister will ruin it i'm sure. She has ruined it before. I want to wait untill she is gone to celebrate it. How can I tell my famly without hurting them and make them belive me?

you don't say how old you will be?
That makes a difference...but if me...I would say''sorry I will not be around this year''...They will forgive you, and also its a huge statement...that something is wrong...to them and that sister of yours!...Time to be strong now......!!!...o.k.
Oh! HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR TOMORROW!!! AND HAVE A GREAT DAY....WITHOUT ALL THAT STUFF...Go do what you want for once.......

just tell them that you dont want to... it's your birthday afterall and it's up to you to decide whether you wanted to celebrate or not. and about that annoying sister you're telling? just dont mind her... sisters can be really annoying eh? (believe me i know...)

so anyways, if they really insist on clebrating then why dont you make a deal with them? like you'll just hang out with your friends in the malls and stuffs or have your mum cook up something special for you and your family... it's still a celebration, only without those balloons and stuffs.

advance happy birthday!^-^

Just tell them. If they get mad, they'll just have to get over it.
