Any plane has the ability to fly into a building, the only way you can stop that is to stop flying. Not going to happen. The security system is a joke.

I understand that set of buildings is actually fairly close to La Guardia airport.

They gotta go somewhere.

Besides, there's a big tourism industry there...there are all kinds of helicopter tours & such all around the Big Apple.

You go by "thinK"? And who was to know what the plane was doing, where it was going, and what could be done anyway if they knew? You have two choices, ask it to leave or shoot it down. It couldn't change course (as far as we know) and what would shooting it down have solved even if there was time?

Oh, you want to ground all aircraft, too, huh? Flipping out? Don't flip out. Look, when your time comes, your time comes. Nothing you can do about it. Okay? The body you don't want to see, you'll never see. So don't freak out, okay? Besides. Some of those guys actually know what they're doing. I think.
