first you should consider yourself fortunate that he is coming to you. That means he has an inner conflict he cannot bear on his own the last thing you should do is disown him or cut him out of your life. If you do you may never get him back again

that does not mean he was unhappy with the way things were. i am gay, and really, i can not understand how parents can not love their kids because of that. They were BORN gay, they were always gay, so why would you not love them if they told you were gay? oh, i know why!!! since everyone loves to live in denial while the whole world is just... crashing down. I just wish people could be more open minded.
oh, and yes, i would.
think about THAT.

Yes I would, no doubt about it, it wouldn't make a shred of difference to me. If my hypothetical son came out to me I would commend his courage, but not make a big deal out of it, cuz it really doesn't matter. It's just a random thing, like drawing a slip out of a hat, sexuality is.
I don't see how you could stop loving your own child for any reason, especially one so petty as which gender they wanna boink.

absolutely. I have tried to raise my child in a well rounded way. He has been exposed to various religious beliefs as well as various career paths and both traditional and non-traditional interpersonal relationships. I want my child to be open minded and tolerant of others around him. I want him to think for himself-to look at all the options and then decide.
Who he loves does not affect my love for him.

Of course I would. Being gay does not change the basic person. Any parent that would not their child no matter what shouldn't have children

Love is grace, mercy, and kindness. Even if a person lives a life non-conductive to heavenly teachings, he/she still should receive God through us.

Yes, I would. No matter what a child may or may not be, do or not do, you love them as they are. They are your flesh and blood, and what parent does not love their child? It would certainly be a shock, that is for sure, but it would not make me love him less.
