i want to have just the local weather icon, temp, and time on my webpage....i have read the how to in yahoo weather rss help but find it incredibly confusing...i'm probably making a mountain out of a molehill but it does not tell me how to place the gotten information on my page...any help will be greatly appreciated....

OK to be very simple, every site that offers RSS feed to be fed on different websites have a orange button there, you simply have to right click it and then click "Copy Shortcut" this will in simple words is the door for that page, now you have to paste this URL where ever you want, as in your case you have to paste this URL in the And when you've done after few hours your feed will appear on your page.

you are jumping through hoops, but it can be done!

a program on your server periodically check the rss, and parse the feed for the image, download it, and make it available for your web page.

but many other services allow you to just one of their programmatic weather pictures.
